This weekend is the Wooden Boat Festival in Hobart, it’s a biennial event that sees wooden boats of all sorts of shapes and sizes visit the state.
One of my favourite parts of the Hobart waterfront incorporates a sculpture by well known local artists Stephen Walker.
I am always drawn to the old square riggers. I sometimes wonder if I should have been born 200 years ago. I couldn’t resist the old and the new either.
Finally, we visited the steam powered boats. What struck me the most though was the line up of people all jostling for position to get a photo. 🙂
