My local yarn store has been running a blanket knit along. Each month two block patterns are released for people to knit, and by winter everyone will have a lovely, snuggly, hand knit blanket to keep warm under. The original shop sample is in greys, but today we got to see some of the blocks customers have knit in some of the other colour ways. I’m looking forward to June to see the finished projects come together.
Photographing knitted garments is one of the skills I would like to improve. It’s not always easy to capture the colour correctly but more importantly the stitch definition and positioning of the model. I think shot composition is one of the most important factors. So many interests, so little time.
I love the black boarders! Wish I was creative enough to think of things like that.
