This is my cat Velcro, she is getting on in years now and has made the bean filled feat seat her new bed. I tried to get her to pose for a photo, but all I got was cat contempt.

At the Car Wash
4 JanThis time last year we went car shopping. It was interesting to visit the local car dealers and see who actually listened to our list of requirements. After a few test drives we narrowed the field and the decision was made – a Golf. Alas, there were none in the country, so a small wait followed. Imagine my surprise one day to get a text to say our car had just rolled out of the factory….. it was actually made to order 🙂
Anyway, it has been nearly 12 months and finally the person who drives it the most has been caught in action washing it – for the first time!
Then because I was trying to be all artistic I took a photo of the succulent that grows at our back door. Looking back through different snaps I’ve taken, I seem to have a penchant for green growing things. I wonder how many more will grace this blog in the following months.
